What is Google dashboard ? An informative guide.

 Do you want to know a solid way to control your google account , its google dashboard . Hello friends today , In this article i am going to talk about google dashboard . Well let me first introduce it to you.

Google dashboard is a simple interface or a dashboard which is used to manage google account . Yeah there are different types of activites you can perform like changing password, adding recovery email or phone number and all others which we will talk later.

How to reach to google dashboard ?

This is most important thing and you should know how to reach to google dashboard before using it . Well there are two ways to reach to google account.

A. In any browser like chrome , opera , mozilla firefox.

Step 1: you must be logged in to your google account in chrome browser.
( if you don't know to login just Click here to know).

Step 2: just type "myaccounts.google " in same chrome browser and click on result which have url like this myaccount.google.com

Then you will see like this.

B. In any android phone .

Step 1 : Go to settings and find accounts.

Step 2: just click on google accounts .

Step 3: there will be an option called as "manage my google account" .

When you click on it you will see same picture as above.

Note: In order to reach google dashboard from android phone . Your account must be added or present in your phone first. If its not then add google account at first.

In the above picture you can see a Navigation bar with menus like Home , personal info , Data and personalization etc . We will talk about it in details as it is the most important thing in this article .

1. Home

Hey  you can see the picture of home above so you can easily see that its just a place where you are getting updated news about your google account . In this sections there 4 small sub sections . 

•  privacy and personalisation ---->here you can see data which you have in google account.
• Security issue found---> It finds all the security issue  and alert you even if you don't lock screen in your phone it will alert or if someone else signed in your google account
• Account storage---->hey do you know google gives you 15 GB free cloud storage to store you personal data like photos and videos files etc
• Take the privacy check up---> its like a hospital where you get a personal check up.

2. Personal info

Hey In the above picture you can easily see that it contains personal information. It also has subsections  as below:

• Profile---->In profile there are different things like your photo , Name , birthday , password and you can change these things at anytime as per your needs
• Contact info-----> This includes email and phone number which you have added .
• Choose what others see----> This is the part from where you can make your profile look good to others.

3. Data and personalisation

Hey in this section there are about data and all other which are not so important so lets talk fast.

• Take privacy checkup -----> It was same as you read earlier its about privacy you can manage it.
• Activity controls------>It consist of three things which are important web and app activity , location history and youtube history which you can easily on or off.
• Ad personalisation----> here you can manage what kind of ad do you like but its not important.
• Activity and timeline----> It basically controls and manage you searches and what you read or watched.
• Things you create and do----> I have only created gmail.
• Account storage ---> its all before one you get 15 gb storage.
• Download and delete----> Downloads feom chrome and playstore are controlled by it.
• General preference of web----> It says what do you prefer on web
• Reservation-----> I don't you for reservation but you can try or if you have tried comment below.
• Business personalisation -----> Its by default on and its good for you if you have any online businesses.

4. Security

These are the most important part of google dasboard as it is related to security. So i am going to explain all completely.

• Security issues found-----> if your google account find any problem in it or even on your phone then it will alert you. It has a place to singing in to google and also to activate 2 step verification.

• Way to verify you----> Its the place where you can add recovery phone number or recovery email . What if you forgot your password ?? If you add recovery phone number and email google will use them to verify that its you.

• Recent security events----->its  important it shows you if someone recently sign in to your account.
• Your apps---> its about your phones apps yeah google have access to your apps
• Third party sites that access your account---->if you sign in to othersites then they utilize it you can make them not to use your account.
• Less secure apps---> Inswcure apps are not good for your phone so it shows you all your nonsense dirts.

• Signing in to google-----> It contains one most important feature password manager which you should try now. It saves all password for you of other sites where you sign in.

5. People and sharings

Hey in this section you have some features but most important is location sharing. Lets talk separately

• Contacts-----> Contacts includes contacts saved from your activities and from you device and also it manages blocked users.
• Location sharing-----> hey its most exciting feature you can use if you went to new place and you friend or cousin is receiving you just share your location to them and its done.
• Again choose what other see
• Share recommendations in ads ---> it is clear by name you can reccomend for ads and as per your choice you will be shown ad

6. Payments and subscriptions

Hey in this section there is payments and subscription you buy and news or streaming media then you will pay every month or year.
Google offers google pay for payment but sorry i don't use it if you use then please drop  a comment , How does that work ? It will be useful for others  ?
